Hi friends, I get asked a lot where are my favourite locations so I am going to share with you some of my favourite locations for Autumn sessions this year. Part one is all about our beloved Hopwas Woods in Tamworth.
What to expect:
We park at the lay-by at the top of the hill and to get to my main spot takes us 20 min walk, we will stop on route when we get to a clearing for some standing poses. Once we have taken these we continue to walk to my main spot where there are beautiful trees, fallen logs and autumn leafs on the forest floor.
What Age is it good for:
I would say any age group, but please let me know if a 20min walk is not suitable for you or any of your children. If you have an active set of children then let me know as I will keep the photography session moving. Or we can switch locations which allow your children to run around and play without you getting worried about their energy.
Good time of the year:
Autumn and Winter at Golden hour.
We are looking for a bright day, not dull or cloudy.
Areas I Use
I have 2-3 main areas, but if you know the area, I love following your lead to a new spot. I’m looking for good lighting, shady and open areas. I am also looking for space and interesting backgrounds.
Is it good for my dog?
Yes, dogs can be on or off lead here. It is a big space so please ensure you keep an eye on your doggie if they are off lead.
I hope this gives you an insight of what to expect if you come to Hopwas Woods with me or if you want to go an explore it yourself.
Till next time x
